I haven't seen too much of Ramos to be honest, I believe I only saw one of his fights on ESPN about a year ago (If it's even him that I'm thinking about). But if he's as good as I've heard he is, I reckon this is gonna be a great fight.
Rigondeaux will bash Ramos up inside 4 rounds IMO. He said he is ready to move on to the Elite fighters in the division after this, bring on Nishioka and Donaire.
I think many of you will be surprised at seeing how easy Rigondeaux is going to beat Ramos. Ramos won't touch him, but Rigo will indeed touch him! Ramos is too passive and just a decent boxer/runner, he is not going to know what to do against that beast from Santiago de Cuba. Rigo wins inside 5 rounds, then bring on Don~air, Vazquez Jr, whoever, Rigondeaux has arrived.
Agreed. Should be a good fight between 2 skilled fighters. Whats not to like? Not sure which way i'm going yet. I'm leaning ever so slightly toward Rigondeaux, but haven't seen as much of him as i would have liked.
There's some talk that after Ramos fight Rigondeaux may fight against Alexander Bakhtin in Russia somewhere in the spring. Bakhtin's promoter talked with Rigo's people about that.
