That's an interesting point. They rarely mention Irish boxers in their news so I think you may be on to something there.
By the looks of things it's not on RTE, so if they get some Brits on the undercard it might be on Sky.
This means Brian Peters probably has no part to play in the whole set up. Fair play to Dolphil for doing this independently. It's good for Irish boxing that Peters doesn't have a monopoly.
Yeah, Peters seems to have things nailed down on RTE. Maybe TV3 will pick it up, they showed Moore-Healy a while ago and it looked like they'd start showing boxing but havent kept it up.
I hope the fight lasts longer than the last World title fight in Dublin. I want my moneys worth this time. No doubt about it Willie is the underdog for the fight but since he has burst onto the scene he has got better and better with every fight he has had. The power is there maybe the fight has come too early but he would of been mad to turn down the fight. IF he puts on a good display maybe he will get more bigger fights. Hard to see him win it but he has a punchers chance.
true but he was fighting on the undercard of another fight and the 60,000 in attendance were essentially neutral when it came to rigo v cordoba, this will not be the case in city west...
was reading an internet article on it yesterday and there was an RTE logo on the article. it didn't explicity say it was on RTE but I assumed from the article that it was. I'll post the link if come across it again. You'd imagine RTE are interested given the exposure they've given him on the Saturday night show
you'd think they'd want to show it! theres still plenty of time for them to jump onboard willies warwagon!
watched rigo v addy and he looked far from unbeatable casey hasnt got much chance admittedly but i hope he at least makes it competitive it be great if he pulled it off
