Don't get overexcited. This might be the only competitive fight on the entire card, and if Rigo is for real, even this won't be. Now I AM concerned that it's too much too soon for Rigo, but if I had to, I wouldn't fork out $50 for this show without Montiel-Donaire, Golovkin-N'Jikam or Pavlik vs. a live body. It's a similar PPV to Mosley-Mora, without the potential FOTY candidate.

rigondeaux is the fighter of the future.and this is were it starts.cordoba is a very good fighter, but he's no match for rig.

 

I think Cordoba could win a close decision, unless Rigo is really special.

 

Mike Jones vs. Jesus Soto Karass is competitive too. Its a good undercard, probably as good as it gets with a headliner that draws that much money.

i don't get how you can compare a card headlined by the p4p king to a card headlined by Mosley. Imagine this was Ali's heyday, and he was fighting Cleveland Williams. Would you think "oh this is gonna be a one-sided fight so I don't care to see it."?

Its obvious Rigo is very talented, but from what I have seen and heard its clear that he is a bit of a playboy. Therefore, I hope Cordoba knocks his head off....

Who's promoting Rigondeaux??? This is really crazy... You wouldn't expect a VERY good prospect to step to this kind of competition until 20th win and after you faced some good journeymen... The card is turning out to be nice...Hell, November and December is turning out to be a good month for boxing fans. I wonder if it has something to do with taxes??? :think:think:think

He is already 29 years old. By the time he reaches 20 fights, he will probably be 33-34 years old, a retirement age for most boxers..

He has a very long amateur career and let's hope it is enough.
