Cutting the cloth mate if they cannot even pay for this fight.

Subscribers leaving in droves = less boxing

Good riddance to the tent of boxing :deal

Really? They have a couple of decent cards already set for Jan, so they can't be doing too badly

Only two cards and zero domestic cards at the tent of boxing

Those two cards are shown in numerous countries and not exclusive to Boxnation either.

The tent of boxing in tatters

They think it is all over - it will be soon

Subscribers leaving by the week and no queue of new subscribers. The flagship event of the domestic season Fury v Journeyman Chisora stunk out the joint. :deal

Boring Buglioni, Boring Skeete and Boring Gavin are the crumbs flying the Boxnation White Flag

I don't really know anyone who subscribes for their domestic scene. Sky have the better domestic boxers (though it must be said, they are rarely in competitive fights...), but it's their international coverage which keeps me interested. They don't pick up most of their fights until as couple of weeks before hand anyway, so I'm sure there will be more.

How do you know they're losing subscriptions by the way?

Check the income notes in the financial statements

Drop down to the bottom line for a huge loss as well

There were signs well before this with the noticeable cutbacks in the frequency of boxing.

Falling subs = reduced content = continuous decline stage of business.

Shame, I quite like Boxnation. If they fold I certainly hope someone picks up in their place. Sky really don't have enough international coverage for me

No real demand for a solo sports channel - BT will be the competitor for Sky in the future.

The English Premiership attempted a season ticket subscription on Sky for about 1/3 of the matches and it flopped big time.

Boxing has no chance of hanging on to a decent sized subscriber base in the UK particularly when there is no decent weekly domestic action.

    Boxnation has

    Failed boxing fans
    Failed the boxers
Failed to become the home of boxing
Failed the domestic UK boxing scene
Failed to retain the subscriber base
    Failed to make money

    The end is near
    Let's have a beer
    To see our wish
    The end of fish

    Much more than this
    Fish is on his way
    Coming soon one day
