Now they're saying it's going to be Gamboa/Caballero.

    So which is it?

Rigo is top 10 p4p today. He beats Caballero.

lets see Rigo step up his opposition before you throw him in with a relentless monster like Caballero! Not saying he would lose but lets see him tested against contenders first. Put Rigo in with guys like Dunne, Cordoba, Jhonny gonzalez, Lontchi, Molitor, etc.

That would be a harder fight then Caballero imo 'cause he's so technical.

Yeah that's what had been rumored lately.

    Caballero vs Gamboa at 126
JuanMa vs Concepcion also at 126

Then maybe the winners of both fights will face next.

He is really talented but nowhere NEAR any P4P list yet. He hasn't even gotten bast bum stage yet.

Caballero may or may not be too much for him right now. Either way, I'll watch it and if he wins, he's instantly an A-class fighter.

Might not be the way they want to raise him to the top, but Rigondeaux needs to take a BIG step up in opposition already.

Rigo has all the tools right now...but its a must he bloods himself against guys who can take him into the later rounds and who can test his mettle.

Bouncing around for 4 x 2's is one thing....gutsing it out over 12 x 3's is a different ball game.

Really if he is matched right and keeps busy he can get the necessary experience in very little time..but the jump in class he will be making is pretty crazy if he steps it up against Caballero at this stage.
I do rate him and he may well be able to do it...but if I was part of his team I dont think its worth it yet, it could end it tears and then what.
