rigo by ud or late stoppage.

btw that whole "rigo needs to prove himself 1st" bit is getting old.

    Yada, yada, yada.

Cuban fighters stay too long in the amateurs that it is not even fair! They are in their mid-twenties to thirties fighting teenagers.

And they still fight to win points.

STFU you troll , go watch this Olympics and then tell me the average age of the Cuban team , it's 23 years old , Cuban boxers are so good because they fight the best day in day out from the begining of their careers , they also train A LOT . Moron .

I would take Rigondeaux to win a lopsided points decision but his Chin is very suspect and I wouldn't discount the possibility of a brutal KO because Donaire can punch and Rigo has a lazy Jab that Donaire could counter with the hook in the pocket.

STFU, Cubans are going to be steamrolled by the Eastern Europeans just like they were last Olympics.

Kinda hard for Cuba to win gold when they don't have their "career" amateurs fighting anymore, do they?

¿ Steamrolled by Eastern Europeans ? , lmao , ¿ when did that happen ? Even though we were robbed blinded we still managed to win 8 MEDALS , 4 SILVERS ( wich means that you got to have 4 FINALISTS ) and 4 bronzes , we were robbed mainly by Asians not by you guys , you guys are EASY to fight so gtfoh .Last Olympics ( China ) were the most corrupt Games in living memory , not only boxing but most sports were fixed in favor of Asian athletes , specially Chinese , this ones are in London and unless we get robbed again we should see a few cubans on the podium . You must be Ucranian or Easter European by the idiotic way you express yourself , let me tell you that you guys only have Lomachenko , that's it , so don't toot your horn . Cuba doesn't need to keep
the same boxers all the time , we produce enough talent in EVERY cathegory
every year to still comand the #1 spot among nations , after all we have 19,000 boxers , ¿ get it ? , so stfu you troll . Cuba #1 .

In my opinion, if Rigo's skills translate to a higher level and his chin turns out to be fine? He could be an unstoppable force. Donaire loads up too much, doesn't throw enough combinations, gets lazy and likes to drop his hands to bait punches. He can't do that against Rigo or he'll get beaten nicely.

Take it easy Stevenson. Cuba send many young fighters but they should send even more instead of some old.

You know that every 4 years we send new guys to the Olympics , unless they already have a gold ( Stevenson , Savon , Rigo , etc ) so they can win more , 60% of every Cuban boxing team that goes to big championships are new faces , always . Peace .
