What comes to mind for me is MAB vs Hamed, no one expected MAB to make Hamed look so average and really wasnt dangerous at any point for MAB.

    Yes i know.
Among active boxers and former boxers Rigos performance impressed very much
Boxingfans like Fat Dan Rafael dont understand what Rigo did. In some sequences Rigo stood very close but Donaire was nor able to hit him.
So sad the average boxing fan did not understand.

JMM is the one that wanted the fight...stumpy.

Floyd didnt "make" him do anything.

Did Manny make Rios just 2 divisions to fight him?
    Wasn't Rios a blown-up lightweight too?

    I don't hear JMM calling for a rematch:deal

long lay offs are always a good excuse to get beat.
Sugar Ray was off 3 years and came back and beat Hagler....also jumped up a division to do it

except pac was coming off brutal ko.

and rios was already having problems making the lower weights. even have problems making 147. rios was going up in weight whethere he gets a fight with pac or not.

and nobody pretends it was some great matchup, nothing but a tuneup after the loss.

you didnt mention floyd cheated marquez ont he scales. was it marquez request to get cheated too?

floyd resume so **** *****s are forced to make the floyd-marquez to be in anyway better than what it was supposed to be, a farce of a fight just to avoid the pac fight.

edit: fool, look at the thread title. no one compared the pac-rios fight to the rigo-donaire.

however, a ***** shamefully did the floyd-marquez fight.

does floyd have any win comparable to rigo-donaire?

Calzaghe v Lacey. We know now Lacey wasn't that good but he was hyped just like Donaire back in the day.

Really?, after all the talk about Pacquiao being a sell-out, going in as a huge underdog and supposed to be sparked off in 3 rounds now it's not significant?. Pathetic.
