Yep, and he was only like 6'0 for a HW. He was actually a LHW turned HW. Beautiful and slick to watch, pure boxing genius!

Thing is, Lomachenko only lost once period, against Selimov in the final of the 2007 World Amateur Championships, a loss he avenged. He was something like 396-1 as an amateur. He won as many Olympic titles, plus the Val Barker trophy, and more WAC than Rigondeaux. Furthermore, the European title could easily be considered equal to or greater than a Pan-Am title.

They are both excellent amateurs, but Vasyl is slightly better.

Both two times Olympic gold medal winners, Lomachenko in diferent divisions.

Both Am World Champions; Rigondeaux two times, Lomachenko three times.

At least record-wise this is for Lomachenko.

Guys, noobs, Lomachenko has two world champ golds, not three. He won silver 2007.

Lomachenko. 398-1 record, the Val barker trophy, 3 time world champ, 2 time olympic champ, And the WBS undefeated champ (no helms by the way) is just more than what Rigo brings to the table.

To be honest, I think you could rate Lomachenko as the greatest amateur boxer ever, and be able to argue your position.

Completely forgot about the WSB, that is another feather in his cap, especially if one wants to count "World Cups" for Rigo.

Very hard to say. Rigondeaux just seems to be one of the most talented boxers in hisotry to me, so I've voted for him. Lomachenko is also somewhere close imo.

Both had incredible amateur careers, would love to see them fight as pros.
