Lomachenko maybe but will he be able to beat the former fighter of the year (or an equivalent win) in his 12th pro fight like Rigo did ?

Good post but Rigondeaux swept away every single Cuban in front of him for 7 years straight! Rigondeaux is 7 Times Cuban National Champion and as we know the Cuban Team has always been among the top 2 Teams in the World.

Lomachenko still has to prove himself in the pros like Rigo already has. I don't have a doubt that he too will shine but let's just wait and see what he can do. In the meantime Rigo has the lead.

wow. all those great cubans and only 3 from the olympics who are the same ages as the ones that get thrashed by the 25,26, 28 year old cuban men
thanks for pointing out how flawed your logic is

Didn't exactly understand your post. What I was trying to point out is that most Cubans win Gold at a very early age. The problem for them is that since there's no pro boxing in Cuba they have to stay as amateurs for their entire career. That's when you see the 26 to 30 year old boxers beating on young ones.

I agree that an experienced mature boxer beating on a young and inexperienced boxer is not an achievement at all but you have to see that the Cubans also win their first World Titles when they are young kids too.

    Lomachenko was the greater amateur
Rigo should move up a division to see who is the greater pro

Okay so the best Cuban of the bunch goes to the international tournaments, where they proceed to get beaten by Lomachenko. The competition in the nationals in the Ukraine is no joke either.

it is a matter of opinion. I mean the records are close but one fighter could be fighting better competition. at the end of the day amateur records don't mean much regardless.

    lomachenko beast anyone anytime anywhere
no one is better than lomachenko
he has lost just once in 400 fights for fuks sake ( contreversial loss as well)
    he avenged that loss twice
he has beat every man he has faced

Come on now, Kostya was a good amateur but he shouldn't be anywhere near a discussion involving these two.
