259-11, with his only significant achievement being a gold in his third attempt at the world champs.
As I said, a good amateur but he wouldn't even be in the discussion for top 100.
Rigondeaux and Lomachenko are both top 5 ATG sort of amateur fighters so Tszyu should not even be mentioned here.

i'm thinking u never seen him box at the amateurs now.

u don't need to quote his record, its common knowledge, and i'm aware of his credentials, thanks anyway.

Whilst I kinda agree that a good (even outstanding) am record doesn't guarantee pro success, this thread is specifically comparing their amateur careers.

Statistically (which is all we have to go on - since there could be no amateur head to head), Lomachenko has what I believe is the greatest amateur record of all time. Either way, we are lucky to have, with Lomachenkos TR signing, two of the greatest amateurs of all time fighting simultaneously in the pros.

I've seen plenty of his amateur fights (his fight against Forrest is one of my favourite fights). If you were aware of his credentials then I'm surprised you're bringing him up, it's like bringing Antonio Tarver into the conversation. Again a highly touted amateur but nowhere near the level of a Lomachenko or Rigondeaux. I understand that you're obviously a fan of Tszyu (I am too) but you need to be objective. Tszyu simply doesn't belong anywhere near this conversation.

Not really a matter of a opinion at all, Kostya didn't medal when he went to the olympics, and it took him until his third attempt to win a world championship. Lomachenko and Rigondeaux are double olympic gold and double world champ gold medallists. Completely different level to Tszyu.

Tell us about these losses Lomachenko had then?
Many people regard Lomachenko as p4p the ATG amateur, and his record was 396-1. And Mammadov was actually the one avenging previous losses to Rigo.
I'm a Rigo fan too but as I said, stop lying. You're not stating facts at all, I'm a big fan of both but statistically Lomachenko had the better am career, that is a fact.
Is Rigo more skilled than Lomachenko? Maybe we'll find out in the future if Rigo moves up to 126.

carribean title and central american titles dont mean anything

    I like rigondeux more

But you gotta admit that Lomachenko was the better fighter on paper, he achieved a bit more and at a younger age,a dn Lomachenko is a lil bit more talented as well, Rigo has a dodgy chin and lost a good few times in the amateurs whereas Loma only lost once which is unbelievable in the amateurs where there is so much dodgy scoring, it shows that he is very special and that his opponents couldnt get near him

Again you're talking nonsense and distorting the facts. The world cups (insignificant tournament) don't exist anymore, they finished before Lomachenko was even a senior. You're going to count a shitty tournament that was only held for a couple of years that Lomachenko never had a chance to compete in? Lomachenko also has a junior world championship, which is far more prestigious than a pan am or central american title. Why not include Lomachenko's European cadet championship? How about his gold's in the Klitschko and four nations tournaments against international competition? How about all the golds in the memorial tournaments he's won?
I know you're just looking at wikipedia as well btw.

How many Val Barker trophies has Rigondeaux won? How many losses does he have? Lomachenko has won more and lost less. That's a fact no matter how you want to twist it.
Who's more skilled? We don't know. But Lomachenko fights on the inside and outside, Rigo is purely an outside counter puncher.
