Rigo would probably out point him. Montiel has trouble with fast fighters. I do think Rigo's amateurish style will one day get him in trouble, but Montiel isn't the one to do the job.

Can't see it happening, as the Cuban market is still small, Montiel's manager would probably not want his fighter to look bad at this point and jeopardize a big money rematch with Donaire and Rigondeaux is too good.
Montiel is at the end of his career, and after suffering a brutal TKO I don't see him taking out someone like "EL Chacal" at 122. Rigondeaux is very defensive and will risk nothing against a tough veteran like Montiel. Rigon would just outbox him and keep a his distance. Nothing against Montiel, I just think his best is past him against a sharp boxer at 122.
