why you ask the question then if you already had your mind made up.. besides if vazquez wins i doubt he gives rigo a shot right away, he'll want to make a couple of defenses make some money before going for a big fight... that's if he wins because i dont see him winning this fight he's too raw

Yes, you are. Lets start by saying he has to pass through Sonsona first. I dont think that will be easy. Sonsona is a good fighter with a good amateur background. Second, I am not sure Rigondeaux can knock him out, but at this point he could very easily outbox him. Rigo has at least 10 times more experience than Vazquez jr. But also, Rigo has a UD victory against a loser that doesn't say much about his KO power.

Now, listen very well, Vazquez jr. is 25y/o and started boxing late. He was never an amateur boxer. Rigondeaux has tons of experience annd is 29y/o. I think if Vazquez beats Sonsona and they manage his career intelligently, he will make more money boxing than Rigondeaux ever will. Ultimately, that is what is all about. Medals don't pay bills.

Jesus Rigo beats everybody by KO even though he's only had 5 pro fights.

Rigondeaux beats anyone who tries to take the fight to him by KO. Anyone who doesn't throw punches can make it the distance because Rigo doesn't like to force the action. That's his biggest weakness.

notice how his opponent doesn't land 1 punch the entire first round. Not a single one. And he threw maybe 5. In the 2nd round, his opponent lands 1 punch

Excatly Ricky medals dont pay bills, that is way Rigo came down here to kick some butts and make some money- dont get upset,im not trying to create another conflict againts PR
watch that fight that Rigo went the distance and see how the other guy just run the whole time and Rigo didnt need to sweat it to win,it counts as a win,the same way Juanma beat Mtgawa,at the end its a win.

Again, who is getting upset. The first thing I said is Sonsona will be a tough opponent for Vazquez. Second, At this time Vazquez/Rigondeaux is like pro against amateur, Rigondeaux being the pro. WHY?????? Becuase he has at least 10 time the ring experience Vazquez has. That said, Rigondeaux clock is ticking....

I think Sonsona is too young to fight a guy like Vazquez Jr caliber, you see the weigh ins? Vazquez was in peak shape. But i am hoping Sonsona comes out with the win.

    Rigo destroys Vazquez

now we can talk about this fight.. i think sonsona wasnt all that i thought he was more hype then anything.. but vazquez has a lot of power and loves to fight.. rigo can easily beat vazquez if he just boxes him without getting into a brawl.. vazquez has a punchers chance still and needs to make the fight a brawl.. it wont happen still vazquez is gonna want to defend a couple of tinmes before going against rigo

The guy that many experts consider to be the greatest amateur of all time vs a guy who had no amateur background?
WV2 needs a few years to develop and progress before he gets in there with any of the top guys.

rigo too much for Vazquez Jr I think. Sonsona moved up 2 weight classes for this, I don't think he was ready for the power of the 122 lbers. Not to take anything away from Vazquez, he used the opening given by Sonsona to inflict serious damage but Sonsona just laying on the ropes exposing his sides made the job easier for Vazquez.
