Rigo should school cordoba to become WBA interim title holder, and he is the goods. The one thing he does better than his fellow countryman yuri
is that he keeps his damned hands up. Other than that, they seem about
opn par. Rigo is a solid 122 lb'er too.

It's a shame he left the amateaurs so late, he looks great.

Impressive video! I am beginning to see that Rigondeaux will be more successful than Gamboa ( as he was more successful than him in the amateurs ). He looks ridiculously skilled, great defence ( much better than Gamboa ), great hand speed and also power. He almost KO'ed that guy with just 1 shot and that guy is bigger and heavier than him. I have no doubt that Rigondeaux will defeat them all, including Yuriorkis Gamboa. I can't wait to see him vs Cordoba, a Cuban boxing lesson awaits. Rigondeaux will be the first Cuban to win a major World Title in less than 10 pro fights. Imagine if he had defected 7 years ago, would be at the top of the Boxing World as of now but at least he still is not old, at 30 he still has at least 5 good years left or maybe more, who knows? :huh

I wish he'd made it out in 2007, or even earlier. Easily the best of the Cubans for me. Felt like such a long wait for him to turn pro, I'm glad he's here and stepping up quickly.
