If Mathebula is a paper champ then what is Rigo? And maybe a big reason Mathebula was landing(weak arm punches) more often then most Donaire opponents was because Mathebula is actually good(was robbed vs prime Caballero) and he's 5 foot ****in 11inches and had a 6 inch height advantage over Donaire. Id like to see how great Rigo looks vs Mathebula. My guess is not good.
What? Marroquin has fought nothing but tomato cans(losing to one of them) and still got taken the distance by 7 of them..... And he reminds you of Chico? No!

Show me proof of Marroquin's power besides Kellermen repeating it the entire fight just to make the fight not seem like the complete mismatch it was.

22 wins-15 by KO is a sign of power.
The kid is just 23,he's beaten Broner and Russell jr as amateur .

He was turning his left hook over with a ton of snap.

That and he's huge for his weightclass.

With the level of opposition he fought he should have stopped every fighter he's faced if his power was so great. And when you have to talk about someone's amateur career that means they have done **** as a pro. This seems to be a new fad with the cubans and euros like that bull**** they call amateur "boxing" means anything when it comes to the pros.

Oh and he lost to Francisco Neal.:patsch
He hasn't even knocked out or even fought a true journey men. His record is full of tomato cans. When he knocks out or even beats someone with a pulse talk to me.

    He's only 23. I'm not saying he's a world beater, but he's a decent opponent.

When was the last time Donaire looked good again? Montiel, who was extremely overrated going into the fight, and hasn't been ranked at BW since? :yep:patsch

He lost to a 14-5-3 scrub only a year ago. Since when is being young make you a decent opponent?

And yet he's still fighting top fighters and easily winning. While Rigo is fighting a who's who of "who the **** is this bum?".

I never said that. You asked why he hasn't beaten a big name. He's only 23. That's why. He'd a decent opponent because he's big for his weight. Tall. technically sound. Good amateur background. Good keep buys fight for Rigo

    :good
    Narvaez ( diazepam 10mg)
Vasquez Jr( who was just beat down by old little Arce- split decision)
Mathebula ( unknown African warlord with no fundamentals- got outworked)
I don't want to diminish Nonitos accomplishments but there is always Garbage to throw either way.

Mathebula and Vasquez, who got knocked out by shot to **** Arce, are names?:patsch:rofl Rico Ramos was higher up on the rankings than both of them.:rofl

Mathebula boxed the ears of Nonito and could have easily been given the decision. I had Donaire by a point.

Mathebula is awful. He has **** fundamentals, never has his feet set; he's a poor man's Caballero and outboxed Donaire for a good portion of the fight.

Donaire just spams left hooks and hopes that one lands.

Rigo gets caught once and suddenly is awful. Donaire gets outlanded by Mathebula and is a god. ****ing ******s, man.:rofl

The skill, composure and technique of Rigo will carry him through many close calls. I can't say the same for Donaire.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Nonito knocked Rigo out cold with the first clean left hook he lands
