There are alot more Rigondeaux haters than i thought.
The guy is considered one of the greatest amateurs of all time. OF ALL TIME!
A guy with this skill is what i have been waiting to watch!
yeah it took him 4 rounds to take out andrade who was alot less skilled but hell i think he was actually trying to learn in the ring unlike the other two fights he had when the guys just couldnt stand up.

By the way he already has a signature punch in the pros.
A left hook to the body nearly broke Andrade's ribs. That makes 2 of his first 3 fights stopped by that punch.

He just fought someone who was 60-11 in his 3rd fight. I remember before this fight a lot of people saying that was a good step up, someone who at least has some experience. Guess you guys knew about as much about Andrade as the matchmaker for the fight.

This guy is good. Right now, he's 28 or 29 and in his physical prime. They need to work fast with him. Even faster than with Gamboa. His style is smooth; with great defense and enough power to hurt anyone at that weight class. The only question is his chin.

Anybody who said such a thing never saw Andrade fight, believe me Andrade was'nt a step up at all. Like Booradley said they need to match Rigo with stiffer opposition.

Is that sarcasm? Wasn't that a 52-11 opponent? Wasn't that Rigondeaux's THIRD fight? You were being sarcastic in your post right?

I thought he always had similarities with Whitaker, except he may possibly hit harder. I don't think people are paying attention, but still talking as if they have been.

I don't mean to name call, but in the most honest words I can possibly use....you have to be an IDIOT to have a problem with Rigondeaux this early in his career. This guy impressed the hell out of me in Athens, and hasn't had the slightest chance to even come CLOSE to showcasing what he has so far in the pros. Let the guy settle in folks, jeez.

Here, here:good. The bloke has some serious skills and bags of potential- God knows what people expect from his first few learning fights as a pro:conf. Can't wait until he's out next.

And it's not a question IF he will when a title, but WHEN. Also not a question IF he will be great or not, but HOW great and where he will rank among the all-time greats!!!

No time is not on his side. I don't think he can fight for a title or anything even if he wanted to. These things take time. He has to work his way up the ranks. They aren't just going to give him big fights because he had such a decorated amateur career. The slate has been wiped clean. He's had three fights in four months. He won all by KO. How the hell is anybody complaining? Are you shitting me?

He was a great amature for sure, but people a trying to make him like he is the greatest thing since slice bread as a pro and he is not he has not proved him self yet, time will tell in the pros.

I'm a big fan of Guillermo, but Andrade wasn't really a step up yet. The guy was almost just as hopeless as Guillermo's previous two opponents.
