True that. It says it all when they are both promoted by top rank and Arum has not mentioned them in the same sentence. Too big of risk for not much reward.

Just got back from the US...had a awesome chat with Rigondeaux using 1 of his entourage as an interpreter prior to his fight vs Kennedy in Las Vegas at the MGM.

A real nice guy & didnt mind chatting for ages despite his poor English.
He said he will take on anyone at 122 or 126 (Donaire is his main goal he said) & knows it wont be easy to get some of these fights.

Did you see the article on max boxing about Donaire doing voluntary drug testing, he actually mentioned fighting Rigondeaux if he wins his next fight. Would love to see Donaire V Rigondeaux

Donaire from all reports will be fighting Jorge Arce first....probably in late September.
After that it depends but i guess the Rigondeaux fight may happen, we shall see.
Good to see Donaire doing round the year drug testing. Leading by example.:good

Must applaud the voluntary testing. There would be more money to fight Arce I would imagine. He will more than likely move up to feather after that one would guess.

I'm sure you talked to him, more like you listened to the press conference where he said he wanted to fight Doniare. Or will fight anyone.

I wasnt as the main press conference & have not seen footage of it as i was on a day trip out to the Grand Canyon...Rigondeaux was the ONLY main carder i talked to by complete accident while in the MGM Grand.
The only other boxer that was fighting i met personally was debutant Jesse Hart, son of former Middleweight contender Eugene "Cyclone" Hart.

You can think whatever you like for all i care...

I wasnt so lucky trying to catch Tim Bradley on fight week.
I went to Niketown in Caesars Palace trying to get confirmation from the store's manager when Tim Bradley was coming in, as Top Rank released press conferences a couple months ago saying he would appear.
The manager couldnt give me a date or time & with a day out shopping at the super cheap factory outlets as well as going out to the Grand Canyon i couldnt catch him.:verysad
