Rigondeaux's contract with TR expires this Saturday

    Hyde said they will see the offers of all promoters and decide next.
    So far TR lead Rigo to a championship but despite the fact of having good 122 pounders they are unable to find good opponents.
    What should Rigo do next?
    Probably no choice but stick with Arum?

    Mares is dying to get a big name himslef, maybe he should break free and seek GBP.

    Think of this - TR holds the most names at 122, even without Donaire. Arce, Vazquez, Montiel, Mijares, R.Marquez, Molitor. His only other option is GB, and you already see they have no interest in lining up Moreno with Mares. They'll be as reluctant to give Rigo Mares as TR is Donaire. I'd stay with TR and keep fighting so-so opponents on ppv shows, you gotta figure his break will come soon enough. I think once Donaire moves up to 126, they'll be likely to set Rigo up as their #1 122lber, then he can follow Donaire up to 126, can't see the Fillapino going any higher, right now 122 looks his limit really. I just wish TR would start putting on some Miami shows with Rigo headlining. Build up his brand and make some real money with him.

    TR has almost all of the 122 top 10. He has no choice but to stay or go up to 126

    I said this in another thread. Arum/TR knows their business. Folks were all over Arum after the Darchynian fight about letting Nonito languish while Vic went on to bigger fights. Vic is now a burned out shell and Nonito is just coming into his own.

    Mares has fought Darchinyan, Morel, Agbeko twice and Perez, so he already has some very good names on his resume. Having said that, yours is not a bad idea, as in the last interview I heard from him, he really wants Rigo again.

    Anybody that expires with TR has to go to GBP!!!! Top rank has not made Donaire a star by only letting him fight 3 damn times in 2 1/2 years!! Arum milks all his fighters and he will do the same with Rigo. Hes already old and needs more fights Oscar can do that
