Lomachenko is. One avenged loss compared to 12 for Rigo and Vasyl won his 2 Olympic and World Gold medals in a division that had more depth and talent than Rigo's. Plus a Val Barker.

Rigo dominated every round even tho was hurt on a couple occasions. Hes hard to hit flush after u have him hurt. Marroquin(sp) looked gun shy and thats not something nonito will be. Plus i think nonito hits harder. Idk if it was rigos countering that caused him to wait to long to punch but nonito wont be scared imo.

I think Guillermo Rigondeaux wins if the fight happens, but I think it could go either way because there is always the chance for Donaire to catch Rigondeax with something big.

Rigondeaux just beats Donaire no matter what. Donaire will be the puncher in that fight but Rigo cannot be denied for his ability, accuracy and counter-punching.

Donaire is bound to catch him at some point and nonito is a very big puncher. I predicted Rigo before, it's now changed to DOnaire by KO and I'd bet the house on it. Rigo gets hurt everytime he gets touched and you can bet he'll get hit with at least a few bombs from donaire who's far superior to anyone he's ever shared the ring with. Rigo is harbouring glass fosho.

You talk as if Donaire doesn't have any of those qualities.

He has them, but has abandoned them recently. Now he just looks for a big left hook at all times

lol, Don't be so sure he beats Nishioka. Donaire did get handily outboxed by Mathebula, a poor man's Caballero...

I've seen his recent interviews and he has addressed that issue and he admits that he has been relying too much on his power. Which tells me he will work to correct them. when they fight Donaire will land at some point in the fight and shatter that china chin of Rigo's.

It's good that he is acknowledging it and taking it on board, it will make for a more interesting fight down the line if he does. I'm pretty confident that Rigo wins, but anything can happen and I wouldn't rule out a KO for Nonito.

I don't see why people are jumping on Rigo..it was a good punch and he got caught..it happens.

It's the way he pivots out with his shoulder as his only defense. He was getting caught on the top of the head a few times doing just that. The problem with the shoulder roll is that without upper body movement, it's utterly worthless(Adrien Broner). It just makes you a sitting duck, especially when a southpaw does it against an orthodox fighter as the distance between your head and their left hook is so short. When Marroquin was coming straight in at Rigo, the left had no angle to the head or body, and Rigo could just pick shots and dominate.

I'd imagine standing in front of Rigo offers absolutely no punching angles. His body is never open on the sides, he's tucked in nicely behind the shoulder and the straight left is dialed in. Add into that, Marroquin was punching down, so Rigo could see the straight punches and his defense is designed to take away wide punches.
