Was looking at the back issues of one of my Ring magz, and it said that it had Holmes vs the all time greats. Who were they, and how did Holmes match up with them? Also I like outcome of these fights, just wondering how Holmes was view in this regard.
Definitely one of the greats. I have him at number 3 in my all time heavy list. I remember reading this article at the time,but can't quite recall who it had Larry winning or losing against.
I assume the list (I was born in 81, so I was 4 in 85) Had him vs Ali, Marciano, Dempsey, Louis, Johnson, these guys are going to be mention as atgs. Perhaps Jeff, Sullivan??, Charles, Walcott?? Fraizer? Foreman?
