This is our worst dream for years now.

Vacant taking a title he never deserved.

He has been rated by all alphabet soup gangs on all divisions without fighting anybody.

All the while TBA gets schedule everytime but replaced by another boxer each opportunity.

Interesting move but like most people I dont use Ring Magazine to form an opinion.

    Floyd is the best p2p.

How much more sense would it have made to have them tied at #1?

I used to love the RING, even for a while after Oscar bought it.

But this **** they been pulling lately....:blood:!:

How can he not have one when the majority thought he won? And you didn't state he'd be hard pressed with those fighters you said Marquez would basically get knocked out. Marquez struggling thats believable, but hes too smart, too strong, too clever to get ko'd by Clottey, Margo, or Cotto. Like Pacman Marquez isn't your run of the mill fighter. If they come to box or survive no they will not get kod. If anything if they went to war it could be those 3 that get stopped. Mannys a top 3 hardest puncher in the WW division with the most difficult style other than Floyds he couldnt ko Marquez what makes you think Margarito, Clottey, or Cotto will stop Marquez? Marquez is too much fighter for any of those including Cotto.

Pacquiao is just one fighter in JMM's resume...yeah sure he fought him 3 times. But as it is, even if you give him a win against Pac his resume lacks depth. You don't become (or you shouldn't anyways) be elevated on the strength of one performance over one specific type fighter. JMM had a chance to prove his depth when he had a chance to fight a bigger welter in Khan...he chose to pass it over. See the difference? Pac was given this chance when Oscar offered him a fight, and he jumped all over it literally and figuratively. Not only that, he padded it some more with consecutive beatdowns of bigger, stronger opponents. And it's one thing to say "oh JMM is too smart for Margo, Clottey et al" (as if that's a logical argument) until JMM actually proves it and goes on a similar tear, he has no valid say for being p4p#1 as long as Pac is still here or for as long as Pac don't get beat. This is what true p4pers do, jump weights and still dominate. And don't tell me, he jumped weight to fight Pac. That's only on paper...Pac and Marquez are the same size.
