Ring announcements by non-Buffer

any other announcer than buffer sucks and i hate hearing it.....jimmy lennon is 2nd best though with what brooklyn said

 

he sucks just like their sport:good

 

i actually liked the guy who does it for the contender...hes not close to buffer though. Every big fight needs buffer.

Who's the guy that used to do it for Boxeo de Oro in Spanish? Lupe Contreras? He wasn't bad. "Y ahora, es hroa de ver QUIEN ES EL MAAAASSSSS MACHOOOOOOOOOOO!"

 

I agree. The UFC announcer ( Bruce Buffer?) has a voice that seems so contrived and forced. Sounds like he's trying too hard to sound like someone else.

Michael Buffer is KING, and Lennon Jr. is second.:good

 

I don't mind Lennon's "It's SHOWTIME"

 

Lupe Contreras seems to be the future guy that will replace Michael Buffer on HBO. His voice sounds good and classy even though he's not in Buffer's league.. but who the hell is? It will be a sad day when Buffer stops announcing. Even right now, way past his prime, he's still the best by far.

 

ESPN used to show some real lame asses for ring announcers.

'ladies and gentlemen, lock the doors and hide the childrennnn'

For some reason I actually prefer Jimmy Lennon Jr to Buffer.
