Ring ranking are biased to American fighters, if they though Bute was number 1 how does ward overtake him by beating Bika?

You can tell the Ring were just itching to get Ward in that number one stop.

    quite,

being number 1 and losing to Ward (the new number 1) and beating Froch

is some how worse than being a prospect and losing ot Froch and beating AA?

even more absurd when you consider the gulf in class between Froch and AA we saw last week.

Kessler's best win schooled Dirrell's best win and also beat Dirrell - yet Dirrell is ranked over Kessler.

and that is before you factor in Kessler's record pre-super six and the fact that Dirrell is a *****.

Bika was Bute's third best win. Now that Ward has beaten Bika and Miranda (common opponents), it's perfectly justifiable to have him jump Bute, since I think Kessler is a better win than Andrade x2, Berrio, Zuniga and Brinkley combined.

IMO he was already 6 before his last loss. Now he should be 8 or maybe 7.

    1. Ward
    2. Bute
    3. Kessler
    4. Froch
    5. Glen Johnson
    6. Direlll
    7. Abraham
    8. Andrade
    9. Bika
    10. Green.

On styles though, I think Johnson vs Froch is a tossup.

Agreed. However, one could say that because Bute KO'ed Miranda, and that because Ward did not exert the same domination on Bika as Bute did after the first couple of rounds (outboxed him 100%, Bika couldn't land much), things get evened out. All that being said, I think there's more to come from Ward in terms of style evolution/development than from Bute who's 30 already.
