Ring editor Doug Fischer blasts Haymon fans

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Good Boy Killa, May 27, 2016.

  1. Ring co-editor blasts these fans, calling them "the demographic", do these fans exist here on this website:

“The demographic” is not made up entirely of Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Andre Ward fans. Those boxers have plenty of fans from other ethnic groups that are every bit as annoying their black supporters (they even have rational fans). “The demographic” is easy to spot. They only offer their opinions when supporting (or defending) a black boxer or when ripping a non-black boxer. They’re going to support/defend Al Haymon and the PBC to the bitter end, and they’re going to **** on HBO, Top Rank, Golden Boy Promotions, Main Events and any other boxing organization currently not controlled by Haymon. They literally see the boxing world (and probably the rest of the world) as black and white. Black is good, white sucks. A member of “the demographic” will Tweet that Golvokin has never fought a decent opponent and in his very next Tweet proudly defend Deontay Wilder’s opposition.

I see a lot of this in boxing lately. Black/White race non-sense and cold war USA/Soviet talk. Very simplistic and narrow-minded.

It's a rarity for someone to boast about Wilders resume, GGG, however...

He's right and this isn't the first time he adressed this issue, but never this harsh.
Dougie has always has been politically correct about it up till now.

Though he has lost a couple of brownie points recently in his defence of GBP (his employer) and Canelo.

LMAO at this IDIOT. Usually I see the opposite. I see people on here defend GGG resume and the very next post start talking **** about Wilder's resume.

Wilder actually has a better resume than little G. And what make this guy THINK he know the ethnicity of the posters anyway? Projection much?

Good for Dougie, although anyone with any sense already knew this to be the case. Thankfully such idiots are a small minority (but also the loudest unfortunately).

It's quite sad but society always has had and always will have it's misfits.

Wilders opp. Is trash and so is GGGs. Difference is, Wilder could get good fights against higher tier fighters and chooses not to. GGG is feared and therefore the top fighters ***** shrivel when his name is uttered and wont take the risk of fighting him. FACT.

No, whites do this as well but not as bad. Way more whites support black fighters vs. vice versa.
