Best fight? Worst fight? And pick the winners and how the winners win IF YOU HAVE THE STONES FOR IT!!!21!"!!

HW: Sonny Liston v James J Braddock
LHW: Willie Pastrano v Max Rosenbloom
MW: Joey Giardello v Marcel Thil
WW: Emile Griffith v Barney Ross
LW: Carlos Ortiz v Tony Canzoneri
FW: Sugar Ramos v Freddie Miller
BW: Eder Jofre v Baltazar Sangchilli
FLY: Hiroyuki Ebihara v Benny Lynch

    Well...

Some doozies, mostly boxing matches. Which of these is the most fascinating to you and why? heavens knows exactly what Ebihara-Lynch would look like. Best fight might be Giardello-Thil, when all is said and done.

From middleweight on down I see some cracking contests there, with Ebihara-Lynch possibly being the best of the bunch. As for Liston-Braddock...don't really see it lasting very long. And as for Pastrano-Rosenbloom...that would have to have a very stern referee telling them to fight. Those styles don't gel at all.

heavy---Liston easily. I don't see Braddock having much of a chance.

light-heavy---John Henry Lewis was the champion in 1935 and I take him over Pastrano, but this would be close.

    middle---I favor Giardello.

welter---I would rate this one a toss-up, with Ross being the strongest champion from 1935.

light---Ortiz. He was at his peak, while Canzoneri was past his.

    feather---pass on this one.

bantam---Jofre probably the best ever at this weight.

fly---I take Ebihara as I wonder how a thirties fighter deals with a southpaw.

What impresses me looked at these fights is that probably the 1963 champions win the majority of match-ups and are never on the short end of an out fight, like Liston-Braddock.
