Fury beat an ATG in Klitschko and defeated one of Usyk's toughest opponents at HW 3 separate times.
And Fury did beat Wilder when Wilder still had killer instinct and a very feared right hand. Fury is #2 in the division

When I read this I thought you meant Fury has never beaten anyone that was ranked in the top 10 at the time

This is pretty much my take on it. Became more interested in talking a good game rather than fighting a good game.

It's just an excuse to try and elevate AJ above Fury. The mental gymnastics amazes me, and though I'm a big Usyk fan I actually want Fury to beat Usyk just to see how the AJ fan boys cope.

They're promotional rating from a promotional magazine whose entire platform is selling fake ratings promoters can use to promote with.

People use Ring to avoid sanction body corruption ... unironically.

    Molina
    Klitschko #1

    Ruiz
    Ruiz #3
    Pulev #10
    Usyk #4 P4P
    Usyk #1
    Franklin
(Was due to rematch Whyte #6)
    Helenius
    Wallin #10
    Ngannou

    Fury

    Wladimir #champion

I don’t particularly appreciate being called a liar.

Fury beat Wilder and Whyte in the last 3 years.
Wilder was Ring #4 and TBRB #3 at the time.
Whyte was Ring #5 and TBRB #4 at the time.

I chosen 3 years because it’s a decent time to judge recent form, including enough recent fights while not including ancient history. Of course in reality you should devalue fights gradually over time rather than have an exact cutoff, but it’s an indication.

Granted Fury’s top wins are getting a bit old now, but he’s just fought the undisputed champion and he has a rematch scheduled, so can’t be accused of avoiding the toughest challenges. If he beats Usyk he will be #1, if he loses in a close fight he will still be highly ranked.

To take a longer view against top 5 opponents:

Fury has fought Klitschko, Wilder, Wilder, Wilder, Whyte, Usyk

So against elite opposition he has 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, with no other losses. The draw was judged by most observers to be a win on points.

Joshua has fought Klitschko, Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz, Usyk

So against elite opposition he has 4 wins and 1 loss, with 2 additional losses against Usyk and Ruiz who were not ranked in the top 5 at the time.

So I think it’s at least arguable that Fury has both a better long term and short term record than Joshua, and therefore deserves to be ranked higher than him.

IIt was a great fight. I rewatched Usyk v Hunter recently. Hunter is probably Oleksandr's 2nd toughest fight.

That's very disingenuous, mate. Joshua fought Parker, Ruiz, Pulev, Povetkin and unbeaten Whyte. These wins easily s**t on anything Fury has done since 2015. Joshua's resume easily s**ts all over Fury's resume. Not sure what the motivation behind arguing against these facts, but you do you.

Tyson Fury is the greatest fighting man to ever grace this planet and his comeback win over Usyk on December 21 proved that.

Why are you still here, mate? Honestly.

You must have a "time travel concussion" too, just like your idol.

This is just funny, because I haven't said a single thing in this thread until right now. You mention me and call me a fanboy because I like 2 posts that speak fax ? The rankings change, Fury having no wins against current top 10 is just that, we all know Fury cherrypicks, and he's fighting usyk too so i don't care. He also said aj had no wins against current top 10 (until he beats Dubois) which is true outside of Parker but how long ago was that? We can't have it both ways, Fury hated for Ngannou, Joshua loved

I have criticized Fury several times, called his resume thin, said he cherrypicks, but I'm such a fanboy huh. It's only Fury fan or Fury hater with you people. Absolutely ridiculous.

You don't understand. It's not a random thing here and there and you are not just agreeing to the measured or sensible Fury supporters. You constantly agree with the most extreme of Fury fans and their most extreme views while deny being a Fury stan. I repeat, mate: it's a running theme, people are noticing and talking about it. Let's not go down the route where I look for examples how you kept giving likes to the most extreme/ridiculous/biased pro-Fury posts over the years. You never like the posts or lordlosh or It's Ovah or Serge or kirk others who criticise Fury. Not once, ever. You almost never not like the posts of miniq, Kiwi Casual, iceferg, Thunderstorm, Redbeard7 etc - the most rabid of Fury fans. I mean, come on now, mate.

I agree with the most extreme of Fury fans ? Or do I just like posts I agree with and/or find funny? Who knows, maybe i like posts from posters who don't always talk to me in a condescending tone. How many extreme view points have you actually seen me suggest in reference to Fury ? Did I call Fury the GOAT? Did I say Fury will retire undefeated ? Did I say no one can beat Fury unironically ? Did i say Usyk stands no chance against Fury ? No ?

    This isn't true
