Yes, it is. Sticking to a fight plan that's working absolutely perfectly is not an indication of a lack of ring IQ, right? So why even bring it up?

  4. u'd have to be an absolute imbecile to step into the ring without someone from your team doing some kind of research on your opponent. the mayweathers are true boxing fans. they watch a lot of boxing. i dont believe for one second that roger doesnt watch pbf's opponents' fights before floyd faces them. im pretty sure money watches some too. out of all the boxers in the world, imo, floyd always has the best game plans.

What does that have to do with anything I just wrote though?

Are you that incoherent or are you just virtually adding stuff as you go along?

I never hinted that sticking to a working gameplan is an indication of a lack of ring IQ, did I? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out, but in you calling Floyd an idiot, you surely must think many mediocre things about the man in your avatar, given that he's unable to do some of the things Floyd exceeds at doing.

I don't even know how to express this argument in terms you're capable of comprehending. Please re-read your own original post and try to figure out what you said, because somehow you managed to think it, type it, read it, and still not understand it.

of course any kind of adjustment that makes you win is an indication of RING IQ. just pointing out that it's not only defense that it is shown. you can be the most athletically gifted guy like zab judah but without much of it, you will never be a true elite.

You just dodged the question in the exact same manner. Answer the question that I asked, not the question you wished I'd asked.

I completely agree. The only thing I argued in here was Duckin Dodgers calling Floyd an idiot in regards to the thread. If he truly believes that, I can only wonder what he thinks of the man in his avatar.

    Are you mental? :rofl

If Floyd is an idiot, what is the man in your avatar? Given that Floyd has shown a high level of Ring IQ.
It was not part of Mannys gameplan to eat right leads and uppercuts, was it? He stuck to A gameplan, but failed to adapt to certain punches where Floyd has exceeded in adapting to certain punches.

I'm not saying Manny is not a thinking fighter, or he lacks ring IQ, but in you saying Floyd is an idiot, really.. what do you think about the man in your avatar?

I'm not mental. You may find me to be mental because you're too stupid to understand my response to your own argument that you also don't understand.

You are trying to equate Floyd's adjustment to Mosley's right hand with Pacquiao's non adjustment to Clottey's while failing to realize that if Floyd hadn't adjusted to Mosley he would've been knocked out, while Pacquiao was not troubled for a millisecond in his fight and won every round easily.

You are not equipped for a discussion about intelligence in any fashion whatsoever.

  12. my answer is pretty clear. it was clear the first time around too. reread it a few times, have a glass of whatever and try to make sense of it all. youre arguing with too many people at once.

I'm through arguing with this ******, he adds stuff on the fly and puts words in peoples mouths, literally.

All in all this is a pretty interesting thread with many good inputs, one being your very own. :smoke

Let me make it clearer for you. We're talking about fighters here. Nobody is discussing the ring intelligence of cornermen.

That said, is it INTELLIGENT for a FIGHTER to refuse to watch video of his opponent?

This is the last time I'll ask you this question as I assume you will answer the question I didn't ask. Again.

  15. actually. i only partially agree with this. muhammed ali was a big bad mother****er. he had a hell of a chin and he knew it. his dope a rope trick probably triggered the disease he now suffers from. margarito uses his chin as part of his game plan and he has had success in a few of his big fights. a few years from now, he wont be the same man. using your chin as part of your game plan, imo, means youre pretty dumb outside of the ring.
