Hi guys, to all who dont know who i am, i work for NS Interactive and we are developing a boxing management game Ring Kings: Boxing Manager. We are working on the development of a fight engine containing 15 fighters. Once this engine is tested to exhaustion we can then open it up to a 50 fighter database test again and then a 10,000 fighter database. The divisions we have choses to build our fight engine around are: 5 fighters from the Featherweight Division 5 fighters from the Jr. Welterweight Division 5 fighters from the Super Middleweight Division If there is a division you feel would be better to test with do let us know. Its good to have a division where the best fighters have fought each other, as we can compare the simulation engine to real life. What we want your help on is giving the attributes for Mikey Garcia. This will help our coders map out the engine as realistically as possible. Any attributes you dont know just leave blank. As a note all ratings are relevant to their respective division, for example a fly weight can have 20 for power and a heavyweight can have 7. but its relative to their division. as a note 20 should be reserved for the very best of the last decade or so in that respective field for example: Golovkin i would assume to be a 20 in punching power. Rigondeaux would be a 20 in footwork ?? Khan would be a 19/20 in hand speed. Pacquiao may be a 19/20 in foot speed ?? get the picture
I'd recommend also building around the middleweight division as there have been many high profile fights there where the best have fought each other often with very different and conflicting styles, most famously the fab four of the 80's.
fight engine simulates the fight, thats what we are building. the attributes are the number from 1-20 of each skill, and thats what we require help on.

Mikey Garcia wouldn't have above a 16-17 in anything. Only a few guys, true greats at that aspect of the sport, should be above 17 to show just how rare and special that is.

Bare in mind they idea is to have a 17,000 database eventually. so there has to be room for domestic and european level fighters, as well as journey men, and fighters at the bottom end of the sport. The fight engine will have to recognise mikey garcia as talented over an opponent. you can be 17/ 18/ 19 in certain areas but there are many attributes that come together to make the legendary type fighters. Mikey garcia is definitely very talented in areas though. and the simulation has to recognise that
this is spot on, the point i was trying to make. when there are 30-40 attributes that make a fighter you can have some 16+ and still be a nobody in your division. check your email
