    Cotto has had some brilliant rounds/moments, but he's not gonna get the decision unless he wins both of the rounds left. That, or he has to stop him. Great competitive fight in any case.

    Cotto jumps in on Mayweather, and has to quickly raise his guard as Mayweather whips out a right hand. Lots of scrappy infighting. Body shots by Cotto! Uppercut and slapping hook by Mayweather stepping out of the pocket! Cotto walks him to the ropes!! Tomahawk right by Cotto, bouncing off the shoulder blade of Mayweather! Cotto is caught in a headlock. Tony Weeks gets them untied. BIG STIFF LEFT JAB BY COTTO, sends Mayweather reeling back. WHIPPING LEAD RIGHT BY MAYWEATHER!! Cotto is blocking Mayweather's rights on his gloves, then diving in and slamming at his flanks. Mayweather is ducking and rolling back from the jab. Quick scoot forward and left hook by Mayweather, caught on the back of the glove. Overhand right by Mayweather, ducked by Cotto. Straight right hand by Mayweather lands. Left hook by Cotto!!!!!!! :ibutt

    Sounds like a great fight. Of course I'm pulling for Floyd but will judge this objectively as possible and I give both guys credit for the courage they've displayed. It really sounds like Floyd's getting tested which he hasn't since Castillo. Refreshing even as a fan to see how much my guy can dig deep since most of his fights are one-sided in his favor. Much closer than I expected hell than many expected for any matter. Rematch, perhaps?

    Mayweather's got a welt and is bleeding out of the nose. Facially, Floyd looks worse than Cotto. Close fight, lots of subjective rounds imo.

    Cotto needs to keep PRESSING.

    He hung back just a bit, and got outboxed.

    He's not winning this fight. He can't afford to let Mayweather knick rounds. Not this late.
