Damn. That's a big statement. As I'm sure you know I think very lowly of Vic as an "elite", so that's quite an insult to Canelo.

No its not better late than never. This matchup should have happened at 140 lbs when both were prime, but boxing does'nt work that way and has'nt worked that way since the 80's.

I am a Cotto fan. Mayweather style is very compelling to watch as well. I just think Pac-Bradley will just more spells of competitive action. As opposed to watching the best fighter easily out-match a respectable fighter and name. Nothing wrong with watching the best of the best, but I'd probably prefer watching more action in a fight with the 2nd best personally (Not sure I am even buying that PPV either).

Prove him wrong. I told you so is one of the best feelings in the world :good
I won't write a page out in your RBR buddy, but I really do think so.

    Canelo is fairly flat footed
Ortiz gets up on his toes

The right hook would land as long as the angle was adjusted slightly
    The size would be negligable.

(Etc, etc. I think we'll get to see one day, I really do)

On the PPV tonight, Colonel Bob Sheridan will call world title bouts #923 and #924 in his career!!!

I don't know what's more incredible: that he's done that many, or kept count!

(and yes, I take him at his word and believe his #'s to be accurate )

How epic will it be when he reaches #1000?? I wonder what it will be? Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, perhaps? :deal
