Floyd gets through a tough fight.

Cotto is still a live dog at 154.

    Boxing wins as a whole!

Fair scorecards. Though the rounds were hotly contested, Floyd got the better of Cotto in the majority.

Just got back from the theater, I gave Cotto two rounds. The 6th and the 8th. The either the 9th or the 10th, I forgot I could see as a toss up. That was it. Cotto's team give them credit came to fight with the best gameplan they could manage which was pressure and wrestle and cotto used every bit of his weight advantage in trying to do that. Mayweather out fought him though, he won the space between the rope brawls and won at least half to 2/3rds the brawls. Cotto pushed Mayweather and forced him to dig deep, which he did. I was having flash backs of Hopkins-Trinidad with Cotto pushing Mayweather, but Mayweather winning and wearing him down, and had he pressed the action in the 12th he could have gotten a knock down.

As for Canelo-Mosley, Naz Richardson can go **** himself, as can the Ref and the doctor. **** all 3 of them. **** the commissioner for not pulling a Larry Hazard and telling the ref to stop it. Mosley was getting beat from pillar to post and just collecting brain and liver damage and all this *****(Naz) had to say was some buddhist ****? Pull a ****ing Buddy McGirt and pull the ****ing plug.

As for Vargas-Forbes, it is what it is. Stewart was on crack though saying Forbes should be anywhere near a boxing ring again. the man is too shopworn to win anything and should stop for his health. Vargas did what was expected.

As for Latimore-Quintana, it was a battle of a never was who was shot vs. a can killer. the can killer lost, Latimore underestimated his opponent, under trained and was looking for a one punch knockout. Expect Mayweather to put him in a sink or swim fight next time out, wouldn't be surprised to see Latimore-Quintana 2 on FNF. Quintana shouldn't get his hopes up, he was better than Latimore, there is no next step or path to a title for him other than praying the WBA forces a mandatory against Austin Trout.

Overall, three of the fights were good, the other(Mosley-Alvarez), I wish I never saw. It reminded me of Mayweather-Gatti a bit except even though Gatti was getting bashed all over, his corner had the sense to pull the plug when the path to victory stopped existing.

Also Larry was in the half in the bag when the card began, litterally the first thing I thought when I heard him talk was, 'Jesus christ, its 6 o'clock on the west coast the booze can wait.' Also, Lampley get the contacts or some cooler shades or something man, anything but those ****ing things. And Steward, dude is a living meme. The "it went exactly how I thought" was on display.

PAC fought a much faster and stronger cotto plus with the 8oz gloves. 10oz gloves seemed to favor mayweather and he didn't feel cotto's punches.. cotto looked shot in there!

Lol these Pac fans are funny. Cotto at the time of the Pac fight was mentally shot. He did not have one good performance since his fight with Margo. Arguably nearly loss to Clottely. And Pac made him come in at a catch weight, below his comfort. Which equals weight drained. With mayweather all of these factors are in reverse -- cotto was on a winning streak, looked good in his last fights, got his revenge, had a new trainer who worked well with.

I think Cotto fight the completely wrong fight with Pac, despite all of the other intangibles. Lets get this straight, from jump I suggested that Cotto was going to give Mayweather trouble. Because the best Cotto was not in the Pac fight. In any case, styles makes fights. Cotto fought the wrong style with Pac, but that style is harder against mayweather, based on the fact that mayweather dont have the strength that pac possess. Mayweather dominated the fight, wouldve been even worst had he boxed around more. But it remains to be seen if he can actually use his legs like he used to. If this fight happened when Mayweather was in his absolute prime, it wouldve been a far worst ordeal for cotto.

Also it was cotto who wanted 10oz gloves (the regular glv size for 154... may wanted 8 oz. Concerning that the only person who got hurt in this fight was Cotto, if they were wearing 8oz cotto wouldve been KO'd.
