    Carlos out working the 1 -2 and getting Latimore to go in his shell and simply catch. Latimore swinging for the fences and missing while Quintana circles him. Nice straight left from Latimore stuns Carlos. Right hook to th body from Latimore. Quitana flurries to the body. Latimore catches Quintana with a grazing right , but Carlos is ok. Latimore starting to land his jab. Nice left to the body from Quintna fighting off the ropes. Better round for Latimore stunned Quintana as well, but not enough to win it from Carlos who controlled the round with his ring generalship, greater activity, and cleaner punching.

    Quintana drives Latimore back to the ropes with right jabs and hard lefts delivered from behind his rear hip. Latimore is shaken!! Latimore is pushed around the ring, and Bayless is having a good hard INTENSE look at him. Quintana is jabbing and hooking away at the head with his right and landing lefts to the body. Latimore being outlanded 7 to 20 per HBO's calculation. Latimore misses a high jab and slides into a clinch with Quintana. Circling and body shots by Quintana, darting in and out and boxing nicely. Latimore catches him with a flush left hand and it does rock Quintana a bit, but he recovers immediately and gets back to task without hesitation. Jab, jab jab.
