Ring mag, by the way, has slowly been turning into a shitty magazine. I like Oscar De La Hoya, but even I can't defend an active fighter and promoter owning a magazine that formulates rankings.

OK Illmatic, just read it all and not one mention of Roy's rap career. One thing I personally found very interesting was it said they doubt HBO will have anything to do with this fight (although the possibility is mentioned) because of still lingering hard feelings over the firing of Jones from his commentator job. Can someone please explain more about this "firing" of Jones??

 

If he did lose this much money I doubt that it was from his own album. It might be possible that he tried to promote other shitty artists and lost money in production and promotion on them. I doubt that he lost that much or that it is the reason that he is fighting.
