I had the fight 7 rounds to Lara and 5 rounds to Williams, so a closer margin than some other posters (i think if you watch the fight without the commentary you might even score it similar), but Lara clearly won and the decision was definitely Ludicrous.

I dont think Williams should retire, but he seriously needs to work on fixing his biggest flaw, the same one that Martinez punished him for.

when it comes to HBO i always watch with the commentary turned off :good

i watched it again and i can go 8-4 but thats being generous... i always look for the cleaner, more effective puncher and also who is landing the counters and bringing the fight. PWill was battered and bruised, his legs buckled on every second left hand and his slapping style just isnt effective enough. If i was a judge id find it hard to give him many rounds against a power puncher like Canelo

I heard whispers Canelo vs Williams might be going ahead for later in the year/early 2012 :yep

I didnt see the fight but I read the RD BY RD on the main forum....now everybody there says Lara won...save 2 or 3

Now I saw the punch stats today...goes a bit like this....PW threw 1020 punches to Lara 501 punches

Now I read that Lara landed the better cleaner punches and a higher percentage landed....and PW slapped a bit and lack power but does he have a case with those huge punches thrown numbers in his favor?

Not from what I saw...Williams was missing a tons and frankly got well beaten.

Doesn't technique, effectiveness and aggression come before # of punches thrown?

Here's Santa Cruz, amongst others, including Eric Morales, in sparring sessions with Edwin Valero in the lead up to his world title fight. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZouWOomFhc[/ame]

Anything closer than 116-112 to Lara is a joke hence why most on press row had it 9-3 or 10-2.

DLH-Trinidad does not belong on that list.

Crap list, how they can not have at least one Glen Johnson loss on it is beyond me. Glen Johnson has been ripped off more than any fighter in the last decade by far.

Come off it............Oscar won 8 rds & ran the last 4..............how does that add up to a Tito victory. Tito landed **** all on Oscar all night. One of the biggest superfight let downs ever including the bull**** decision!
