i just got a copy of ring magazine(little late)and i read an article about toney vs couture.First it goes as why they should never mix,but the funny thing was that it kinda dismisses toney as a boxer and says what a gentleman and freak couture is.I am in no way saying anything bad about couture, but the worst thing it says how its so obvious that boxing its losing all fans thanks to the so friendly ufc and the all so-called champions are so down to earth and close to their fans.It also goes as that all or most of the ufc fans are white and many more things that weather true or not,it doesn't have anything to do in the magazine, let alone as to bash boxing in favor of ufc..what does people think..my point is that i did get a little offended when reading all that, specially in that specific magazine, please,im not offending or trying to bash the ufc(event though they are the worst imo)but i want want peoples oppinion to let me know if i am wrong.

i thought it was a good article and pretty balanced.his thing about 9/11 was strange.he was right that the ufc is well promoted whereas boxing is often not.some promoters like the fat **** gary shaw are woefull.toney is an ass and couture seems ok.the picture of the fan with "we're in your corner randy" sign was funny as ****

"I'm not trying to bash here people! No disrespect whatsoever! But **** they're the worst! They're just awful...."

    Yes, you are completely objective.

MMA is no longer style vs style so it is very difficult for a boxer to be successful without embracing other martial arts EITHER to execute his one martial art OR be a well rounded fighter.

MMA and boxing can mix like any other fighting styles. Fighters have similar traits no matter what their art. However, it doesn't matter what art it is, if the fighter doesn't embrace it and train hard he won't succeed.

Toney didn't embrace MMA nor train hard. He embarrassed himself and boxing.
