The editor also accepted the decision that it was a close enough fight that could have gone either way. So although they scored it for JMM, they can accept Pac as the winner as the judges scored it for Pac and they can see how the judges could have given it to Pac.

Even the editor of the ring Mag owned by goldenboy(JMM promoter) is telling him to stop acting like a cry baby, that tells you something.

Indeed. As per usual fine post Lance. We had covered this pretty thoroughly after the Santa Cruz/ Casamayor fiasco.

 

I must admit I was skeptical at first, but so far you're absolutely correct. For one thing the editor covered this "concern" of the fans quite well in one of his opening articles just a month or so after the announcement of GBP's buying of the Ring. And secondly I've felt much solace after seeing highly critical articles of ODH in the Ring over the last few months as well.

I always that that people respected there rankings more than the alphabet groups because they dont go by official results and take corruption and gifts that a fighter may have recieved in their fights into account.

 

Why would it be more confusing for them to rank and have the fighter they think is the best in that division as the Ring Magazine champion in that division.....

.....the case now with Ring Magazine giving Pac there belt is that...."hey Pac, here's our belt, we think you lost, and we even think JMM is the best 130 pounder in the division, but here we present our belt to you, and a toast to corruption in boxing, as it is why we're here presenting this belt to you!"
......it kinda defeats the purpose on why Ring Magazine has a ranking system and appoint a Ring Champion in each division does'nt it?

 

How can you claim bias from Golden Boy when the belt goes to the Top Rank fighter and Schaefer was taking up Marquez' cause for immediate rematch and offering Pac 6 mil?

It's perfectly logical to think that Marquez was ahead on your own scorecard and still accept the decision that Pacquiao won even if you don't agree with it, anyway you don't have the choice, what's wrong with these people who seek conspicacies when there isn't ?

 

it was two points man...its happened before in fights that wernt as close as this fight was.

honestly if Pac wouldda lost I wouldda been fine with what happened(I scpred it by a point for pac man) it was really close with alot of close rounds...why wont you people just grow the hell up?
