yep 20/20 can be great looking back to see how bad or good our predictions were.

i remember reading either ring or ko around 1990 and it had 15 heavy prospects most likely to suceed.

lennox lewis was ranked 15th and last .

I mean, I can't talk, I thought Guinn had a future, although I thought he was undersized. Who knew he would flame out after all those amateur fights? Then Mesi, we'll never really know what he could have done, but drag them out fights with Barrett and Jirov didn't do much for me to think he was the "future," all though he was hella exciting. And Harrison, I honestly didn't see much future for the kid. I know hindsight is easy for me to talk about.

That would be a fun list to go back and look at. I wish I would have hung on to some of my older magazines.

I think Mesi might die in the ring if he fought Vitali.

Aside from Guinn following the Grant fight I didn't see much from the other two. And frankly Guinn looked mediocre in the Dokiwari fight. I was never sold on this trio.

The "who will replace Lewis, Tyson, & Holyfield?" borders on the blasphemous--hence the jinx..

It deserves to be brought up every 6 month. It's good stuff.
Much better then another Klitschko-Lewis thread.
