Jesus christ. The RING WW title was vacated after Floyd's last "retirement". Pretty much as soon as he stepped back in, he was it again. Margarito was a highly regarded WW, but never the man. Floyd never lost being "the man" at WW. If Manny can't fight Mayweather due to the legal problems, they probably still won't appoint a 1 vs 3 winner as champ. I think it'd be due to the what ifs left behind.

Floyd isn't the man at WW, neither is Pac. That spot is vacant. The winner of that fight becomes king at 147.

Thats the answer to your question.

Plus if they have a personal vendetta then why does it rate Manny Pacquiao as the number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world when there is a "challenger" to the title in the eyes of some fans.

    Get your **** together man.

I guess the morale of the story is that no one deserves the to hold Magazine WW belt at present, so far from being the outrage that the TS claimed, it's actually the right thing

Look at the first post in the thread from a Pacquiao troll and yet you are attacking me?

What has Pacquiao done to warrant the Ring belt at Welterweight? That's the point of the thread.

If anyone should have the Ring WW belt, it's Floyd. Many people have clearly explained why in this thread yet you continue to deny it with this ***** logic bull****.

Explain to me why Pacquiao deserves the ring belt, assclown. Otherwise shut your **** sucking mouth and get lost. :deal

Over 140 and under 148 makes it welterweight. Split hairs all you want. It is what it is.

lol don't get all flustered. I already posted in the thread that neither Pac nor Floyd deserved to be called the man at 147.

Once again I'm just calling it like it is, and people are getting all PMS'd cause they can't handle the truth.

The welterweight limit is 147lbs, *not* under 148lbs. Fact is, neither the Maragrito or Cotto figths were fought @ the WW limit.

FACTS, learn to live with them.

Techically Mayweather is the Man at welter.

Judah was the man, until he lost to Baldo
Blado lost to Mayweather making Mayweather the man
Mayweather retired...Cotto Vs Margo become the bout where the "new" man would be recognized.
Margo defeated Cotto, who then lost to Mosley, making Mosley the man. Mosley was the man until he lost to Mayweather.

    Simple.

Cotto vs Margo was never the bout where the "new" man would be recognized. Paul Williams was still around and had already beat Margo less than a year earlier and just knocked out Quintana in 1 round.

basically, your reasoning is "simple" if you're a ***** who thinks he's a boxing know-it-all but really doesn't know ****.

Look at the thread created by your fellow *******.

Maybe you should explain to her that, in order to become the ring champion, you need to fight the best fighters in that division and not in-house, cherry picked , non-ranked ones.

such a misguided thread. not as bad as the "stripp dirrell" thread t'other day, but still shocking.

you dont just get promoted to the ring belt. mosley was the most credible option after beating margo. since then mosley lost to may.

    there are two arguments really.

either mayweather should be the champ, or the belt stays vacant until floyd and pac duke it out.

Yea Pacman shouldn't be #1 at WW. Mosley was the man and Floyd beat him. Manny has some great wins over Cotto, Clottey, and Margo who were the creme of the crop yrs ago and I only have Manny ahead for beating Cotto, another man who has defeated Mosley, but Mosley was the man at the time. I still have Manny #1p4p, but Floyd should be the #1WW.
