    What?

Mosley-Marg was at 147 for the WBA Title.

    Mayweather-Mosley was for no title.

Don't worry after Manny stops Shane if their next fight he will be the champ.

they're wins, are they not? I wasn't debating the significance, just the oft repeated myth of Cotto coming off a loss when Pacquiao fought him.

That's exactly why it makes it a welterweight fight.Splitting. Hairs.

ur an idiot..u dont understand boxing and what you just posted shows it..

how the fuk he gonna win the ww title and keep it fighting at the 154 lb division at a max weight of 150:huh

beating cotto, who was not the man anymore btw, and than beating Clottey is pretty solid as a whole (lmfao not just clottey though like some of u think)..

Floyd beat a higher ranked fighter in Shane Mosley both lb 4 lb and in the world..

and if u wanna look at it from "non technical point of view" we can do that too....

pac fights guys who aren' top 10 lb 4 lb nor a big threat..

like it or not Shane was #2 in the world and #1 ww till pac beat Miguel....thats that:hi:

The weight they came up with (contracted weight) is within the welterweight range of 141-147. So, it's still a welterweight. You can go down to 141, and you're still a welter. :deal

If the #2 refused to fight the #1, then he should be declared loser by default. They can if they want to declare Pac as the champ. That is, if they want to.

no, in a WW fight, a fighter has the option of weighing in at 147...limiting that option makes it a catchweight fight, not a WW fight

no, in a WW fight, the fighters have an option to weigh in at 147...if they do not have that option, then it is not a WW fight, it is a c/w fight

It is only on the weigh in that a fighter weight at a contracted weight but he could baloon to 160 if a fighter wants to. But it is still within the welter range.

awesome, however, in a WW fight, a fighter has the option to weight in at 147, and if the option is limited it is a c/w fight, not a WW

in a JrWW fight the fighters have the option to weigh in at 140, if that option is limited to less than 140, it is a c/w fight, not a JrWW fight

WW is 140.1 - 147...a fighter has the option to weight in at 147..when that option is not there, they are fighting at a c/w...it's a c/w fight, not a WW fight

if it were a WW fight, that fighter could weigh in at 147

Pac beat Cotto, who beat Mosley.. who beat Margarito, who beat Cotto...

That's why there is still no Ring champ at welter, as these guys all had belts and went 1-1 against each other.

Pac-Mayweather will decide the real champ, and that's how it should be.
