I actually kinda like Sturm, and think he's a tiny bit underrated. At the very least, he's got a wonderful jab that would have been a wonderful jab in just about any era. It's not enough for him to beat Tiger or Jake. I don't think that would be the case at all. But just because he's overrated as far as this list is concerned doesn't mean his value as a fighter should be underrated, either.
Silence! The only thing you've done is prove that you can nit-pick to the affect of nothing. This is, in the most literal sense, negligent to even the the great extent of the original author's negligence. Taking the time to defend such a list is the equivalent to defending the specific Somalian pirates preying upon western (non-Soviet) tourists. I am disgusted.
I never defended the list or the author, and I abstained from debating the placement of anybody on such a list. Fact.
at Abraham...Pavlik and Taylor were ranked above him and considered the men to beat during this so called "great reign" Hopkins is great but #1...eh
