Ring Magazine has Broner at #9 p4p after lost

    How can anyone take that magazine seriously? Broner number 9 p4p after the lost to Maidana. It wasn't even a close fight. p4P top 10 don't get their ass handed to them in a fight with crude slugger. That ring belt has been as much of a joke as any other bias belt out there.

    They haven't updated the ratings yet (although they have updated the records, which creates the impression that they still rating Broner p4p after the loss)

    Apparently only one guy- former judge Chuck Giampa, is responsible for ratings (who is obviously in GBP back pocket- WTF is Alvarez doing in there), rather than a committee which does the divisional ratings.

    I predict he replaces him with another Golden Boy fighter. Most likely Danny Garcia- which is fine but probably not my choice.

    Broner is America - ie ranked 5 to 10 places higher than what he should be.

    I believe the ring had him at number 6 ?

    Doigie Fischer said Chairman Chuck Giampa, who had him as high as No. 5 prior to fight.

    About a year ago they had him number 4.

    That was above Donaire prior to his loss to Rigondeaux, and above Pacquiao following his loss to Marquez, and above Sergio Martinez :lol:

    They usually update their ratings each Tuesday. I'd be willing to bet that he won't make the p4p cut this week. Still, can't believe he was there in the first place.
