    Ask yourself this.

Who is the man to beat at WW right now?

I'm pretty sure Pacquiao is a bigger target than Mosley, also he's a younger/more active target.

Mosley is not #1 WW due to inactivity.

Pac's already beat Cotto who beat Mosley.

Is Mosley's win over Margarito more impressive than Pac's over Cotto and Clottey? Before Margarito the last time he won at the weight was 3 years ago!

It's no blasphemy for Pac to be rated ahead of Mosley

    Totally agree.

I also think Hopkins recent demotion in the light-heavy rankings shows that there's not the Golden Boy bias in the ratings that some claim.

There shouldn't really be much debate over this, until perhaps after may 1st. :deal

I said this before. Mosley beat the number 1 ww in the world. Pac beat the number 2 or 3 ww in the world who struggle in his last fight before that and wasnt long off his loss to margarito so mosley shud be no.1 at ww. He beat the best and cotto was a bit damaged before the pac fight.

Pac easily deserves it with two blowouts vs. top 5 ww's. Mosely takes it with a win over PBF.

If Mosley can lose his no.1 WW position without losing, can Pacquiao lose his no.1 p4p position without losing?

Don't be surprised if Pacquiao gets moved to no.2 after May 1st.

Absolutely, whoever wins May 1st will be number 1, whoever loses will be number 3.

Pac vs the winner would leave no doubts to who is the best in the division.
