I don't really consider pac a WW yet until he stops the catchweights.

Still Shane. Mayweather has no claim to number one. He was inactive for 18 months then beat a light weight in what was supposed to be a catch-weight fight. Pacquiao has only had two fights at the weight, both catch-weight bouts, and only one against a true ranked welterweight opponent.

Wrong...you gotta beat the man to become the man! All of that other stuff is irrelavent...Pac has to go through Mosley before he's considered the man at welterweight!

You cant rewrite history with your own opinions...Facts always murders opinions!:good

In terms of 'who are the best?' then it's Mosley, Pac and Floyd, put them in your own order as it's opinion.

But strictly in terms of rankings Mosley should be number one. Pacquiao's win over Cotto shouldn't bump him over him imo. Pacquiao number one. And get this, Mayweather unranked. I'm going by Ring Magazine standards that is, who have always removed guys from rankings when they're inactive for over a year. Coming back and beating someone who has never before fought at the weight doesn't put you back in the rankings.

This has no reflection on how good they are though, strictly speaking. Mayweather is an amazing fighter.

Not really given that Shane KO Margorito who has never been KO'ed and not to mention that Shane was the underdog going into the fight.

:patsch JESUS! You cant even make a logical case on why Pac's wins.

Shane took the belt from the champ and given that Margorito was the favorite coming into the fight...Dont get me wrong, Pac did his thing against Cotto but he also fought Cotto at a catch weight...Mosley took the belt from the Champ at 147.

What part of that are you not understanding?

A figth between Pac and SSM will definitely give as the answer. For now, I saw them in equal footing.

Floyd! He clinched it by beating the top lightweight of the world!
