Clearly Golden Boy's involvement with Ring Magazine has influenced this to make the fight appear 50/50 so everyone buys the fight.

  3. Influencing a poll is illegal  or people simply hate Mayweather for being so great  or this fight is a pick em fight  or Oscar is a dragqueen :barf

influencing a poll may be illegal, but targeting the demographics in which to advertise the poll is perfectly legal. ;)

No its not, I dont care what you say, anybody who has laced up the gloves knows that if a fighter drops every man he faces he has power

i'm looking at it at the perspective of how floyd took shane's power and that i don't think ortiz is on the same level as shane. ortiz may hurt floyd but the chances are way smaller than floyd outboxing ortiz.

Since Ring Magazine has stocks in this fight, the poll is not to be taken seriously on face value.

This is NOT a pick'em fight.

U ever see the people who comment on most of The Ring's articles? They are mostly Pinoys (or Asians), thus the reason for this anomaly most likely.

It's not just power, It's a southpaw, with power in both fists, with speed, with good boxing skills better then hatton, determination to pressure or shoot from mid range without worrying about Mayweather's feather fisted hands, It's mayweather age of 34, it's his 16 month lay off, it's because there are a lot of advantages Ortiz carries over Mayweather previous opponents. The hunger and the wort rate of a young guy will posses problems..

Also Ortiz has a chin, he got dropped like 3 times against Maidana and maidana was unable to finish him, the cut ended the fight. Hard hitting berto dropped Ortiz and he still got up and dropped berto... Ortiz IMO has a chin and heart that whole Cut situation invited to much hate.

Regardless Ortiz has a great chance for the upset and as the fight gets closer the odds become closer....

I'm not saying Ortiz is gonna win set in stone, but there is a big chance for the upset, as much as the big chance floyd will just UD the kid and take his 40M and run and duck pac indefinitely.

Andre Berto isn't very good and he almost put Ortiz to sleep, Peterson outboxed and hurt Ortiz.

Mayweather is on another level and will beat him easily.
