Manny isn't a fighter I'm in a hurry to watch...just not all aesthetically pleasing to me...but you can't name anyone else fighter of the decade, his resume speaks for itself.

Bias or not, as what one of their editors said "there's no other choice for fighter of the decade other than Pacquiao". It's very clear they (RING mag) has no choice but to proclaim Pacquiao as Fighter of the Decade.

Sorry but it is what it is.

 

Pacquiao was schooled by Juan Manuel Marquez.

If Joe Calzaghe had been schooled by Jeff Lacy then maybe Pacman would have a case for being the best of the decade.

 

Manny was hardly schooled by JMM. They had two great fights where Manny knocked down JMM four times while never getting knocked down himself. Manny got a draw instead of a well deserved win in the first fight because a judge couldn't figure out how to properly score a 3 KD round. The second fight was closer and can be reasonably argued that it should have a draw or a one point JMM win.

The only fight where Manny got schooled was the first Morales fight and even that was pretty competitive.

To all *****S, The Ring is one of the biggest boxing magazine out there so I guess your opinions are just something we can just set aside.. hahaha..
