The only 2 I can think of are PBF and Pac. Pacs accomplishments and level of opponents hes faced far outway PBF's play it safe, business first style of handpicking opponents.

See the bolded names? The only names worth mentioning for Floyd IMO. Manny's 2 draws are questionable. He has also won against Ledwaba, who considered formidable in the weight class. Manny took the fight in 2 weeks notice. There was also Lucero, Larios, Solis... Not to mention that Manny is much more exciting than Floyd

Has Mayweather ever been an underdog in any of his fights? He's played it very safe throughout his career. He's a great fighter and he'd really have to push himself to find a fight where he'd be an underdog but he could certainly do it if he tried but that's not his thing and he gets punished for it.

Manny from what I recall was a 3-1 underdog vs MAB and De La Hoya. His 122lb IBF title fight vs Ledwaba that he took on 2 weeks notice was surely another one he was a decided underdog in. Manny has pushed himself and has been willing or stupid enough to get put into fights where the public thinks he's nuts and no way he can do this. Then when Manny not only wins but dominates it just elevates his standing.

People act like Manny just came on the scene in 2006 but he beat MAB in 2003 and beat Ledwaba for the 122lb IBF title in 2001. He had already won and lost the lineal Flyweight title before the decade even started.

The Ring has it correct and it's just not worth discussing anyone else but Manny for fighter of the decade. If Mayweather had pushed himself even once by doing something crazy like take on Pavlik for the 160 title and then win in dominating fashion then he'd have an argument. Unfortunately Mayweather chose not to fight any of the top 147 fighters in a division that was loaded and primed for him to really establish a legacy.
