This table lists the current pound-for-pound rankings of The Ring magazine (the self-proclaimed "Bible of Boxing", owned by Golden Boy Promotions Inc.), which some boxing experts and fans regard as an authoritative source for ranking the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been ranked number-one in The Ring's P4P rankings from 2005 to 2008. He was preceded by Bernard Hopkins , who was in turn preceded by
    Roy Jones Jr.

Makes some sense. I would put JMM at #1 because I felt he beat Manny twice.

I could go with that.. Seems reasonable.. My main wonder was if they would put Calzaghe at #1 like some did, but they didn't, so right on :D

All things being equal, if pac loses his next fight clearly would joe c be #1 p4p in your rankings?

Of course, but how far could yo drop him? It'll be his first fight at 135, not to mention for the WBC title.. It might be Diaz, but he's still a title holder.. Could you drop him past JMM? You can't use the "he already lost to him twice" bull**** either, like a lot of pac haters do on here..

    Good list...
Tho I wouldn't mind if they removed B-Hop and placed Wlad in there
    somewhere after a slight rearangment.

    not a bad list

    cotto is too low
it's questionable whether hatton even belongs on the list
same w/ hopkins, at the very least he should be lower
