Nothing special is he? He's excellent in skill and speed, but he's also really 1 dimensional.

Yeah, Wlad is way better in ability and skill, no doubt about that. But he also retains vulnerabilities that can ruin those other features. I don't think he has a bad chin, he's just really cautious about getting hit and will freeze up, I can't help but think if there was an actual top skilled HW that they guy would figure him out, lock him up and get the TKO as Wlad generally has no plan B.
Let's see he had a crazy size advantage as a MW or LHW, he'd get crushed by some of those guys due to vulnerabilities.

BUT, I am waiting to see him against the other titlists and guys like Povetkin.

Wins will place him way up in my book P4P, I want him to do it actually, we need an Undisputed Heavy.

LOL...i agree, the funny thing is people who put calzaghe ahead of pacman are claiming he has a better resume than pac. they are so impressed with his ten years run as champ and without considering the low quality of opponents he's been having for those ten years. then they exult him for being a two weight class champion when most of the pound for pound fighters listed in the top ten had been champions in various weight classes during the course of their carreers. pac had been champion in more weight classes than calzaghe could ever dream of.

actually i still haven't seen much of Calderon, so i decided not to rate him instead of rating him based on heresay. The very little i did see, I was impressed.

One-Dimensional is not how I would describe Calderon

Would you describe Cory Spinks 1-d? Calderon's more skilled, approach is very much the same and both rarely switch anything up, aside from keeping workrate low and fighting safety first at range, hitting with precise counters.
