True, but how many points would you give Bradley for beating Witter anyway? Even if it was a UD? Witter aint that good and Bradley was an underdog for the fight, so I'd say him only being slightly ahead of Witter points wise on Boxrec is about right
And to think that Roy Jones Jr skipped cruiserweight and went to heavyweight straight from lightheavyweight.
I would have Pavlik clearly ahead of Cotto. P4P if these guys fought Pavlik would absolutely murder him. On top of that Cotto hasn't beaten a threat in it's prime like Jermain Taylor.
Oh dear. Pavlik nuthugging disease is even more contagious than I thought. How anyone could have him in front of Cotto is beyond belief. He has destroyed Quintana, Judah, Malignaggi, Torres and Corley - whilst also beating Shane Mosley. All of which are legitimate top 10 in their division (Mosley top 3) - other than Taylor, who has Pavlik beaten of that magnitude?? A few decent names, but Sugar Gary Lockett is hardly world class.
You're the fella that thinks Froch beats Taylor, yeah? No nuthugging here, Pavlik means **** to me. Pavlik beats Cotto P4P. Mosley is well past it, Judah out of the elite picture. Neither one of those wins amounts to Pavlik beating Taylor twice. Period. Quantity does not equal quality. Ever.
I said Froch could beat Taylor - depending on a number of variable factors that are impossible to define at this stage. Namely: 1. Can Taylor carry power and speed up to 168. 2. Is Froch a puncher at the elite level - as opposed to domestic 3. Will Taylor under-estimate Froch + A few more Judah wasn't that far out of the elite picture - it was certainly a good result, whilst Mosley isn't way past it at all. OK not a peak Mosley - but he certainly caused Cotto a few problems and would most probably destroy pretty much any other 147lb'er. Pavlik is good, very good - but I see him losing the 0 pretty quickly, if he steps up in weight (and therefore class of opponent).
Tough test for Cotto this month, but I think P4P Cotto is well ahead of Pavlik. I had a tough time ranking Pavlik in my top ten, but gave him the benefit of the doubt and ranked him at #6, but his resume is weak. If he were to beat Kessler then maybe we can start talking about ranking him alongside Cotto, but at the moment, for me, they are a long way apart
