Its all good addie, well the first thing that pops out at me is how exactly pac ranks third for the entire decade at welterweight.... :huh

to be honest man, there is A LOT i find wrong a lot of the divisions... too many to name. In almost every division. I like the Ring, i do.... and i like reading their takes on boxing and things like that, and it helps me to keep a visual history of boxing outside of my fight collection, but really... sometimes they are way... way off.

clearly mab is the best of the 3 at that weight (best wins). pac should be at 3. and no way pac is #3 at WW. i'll even rate cotto higher than him.

:good He just didn't get enough work done, and Marquez didn't beat the competition Marco did.

On a quick look the lists are terrible in that there are some glaringly obvious problems with them. Thanks for posting them, though.

I'm glad to see Oscar Larios at #3 in the Junior Featherweight (122 lbs.) division. He may or may not deserve that high of a ranking to some of you, but at least the Ring recognizes his accomplishments.

Pac should not be in the top 10 at Junior Welterweight (140 lbs.) having fought only once against Ricky Hatton, nor should he be ranked in the top 10 at Welterweight (147 lbs.) having fought only twice (De La Hoya and Cotto) eventhough he won all his fights and they were all big fights. Just too little work before the decade was up.

Lists suck. Who ever made this feeds on PAC seeds.
    No zab at 147?
Cotto should be 1.at welter. He fought everybody and never took an easy night and only lost to cheaters. But Paul Williams ducked by every fighter on the welter list. He's the best by default....
Kelly pav title rein is an insult to the crown.

I too think zab should be listed at welter..... he did stop spinks to become the undisputed welterweight champion, but looking at the list, not quite sure who id bump off to make room for him.

    JR WELTER
    1 - Tszyu
    2 - Hatton
    3 - Cotto
    4 - Pac
    5 - Judah
    6 - Bradley
    7 - Mayweather
    8 - Witter
    9 - Sharmba
    10 - Gatti

Kirk out of your entire list the only issue I felt strongly about was that you rank Pac so high at 140 considering he only had one fight at this weight. I would place him lower. Its hard to make a case to rank him so high on the list even though he effectively dominated the best fighter at that weight. He would need at least another win at 140 against another elite fighter to make the case to rank him that high.

I agree with you bro, i should have put in the title that these are The Rings rankings, not my own :good... i would have quite a few of the divisions different if they were my lists. They are from the recent Ring mag i got.

Ring Magazine all-time and decade rankings have always been a joke........most of the time its one person's opinion and he sets the ranking all by himself.

Had this been a ranking of fighters based on a group of select boxing journalist, the lists would be more credible, but they're usually not.......

The person ranking did get featherweight correct.
The featherweight of the era is at the top!:deal:good
