OK, how was he better than Jones Jr, Hearns and Foreman then?

    JONES JR
Never beaten at his peak (except a DQ he avenged with a 1st round KO)
SEVEN major world titles in FOUR weight divisions
Named Fighter of the Decade for the 1990s
1st fighter in over 100 years to win world title at middleweight & heavyweight
Wins over Toney, Hopkins, McCallum, & Ruiz at heavyweight

Holyfield was a great yes, but Jones was a level above everyone he fought in his pomp and his achievements are historic.

You can't diminish RJJ accomplishments because he relied on athleticism. Him being an all time great athlete is a positive not a negative. It would be like attacking Holyfield for having a great chin which allowed him to brawl more than other fighters.

Jones had a high KO percentage.

It's been said he became more tenative after the McCellan tragedy, but watching his fights immediately after the tragedy, I disagree.

I think Jones became more content to coast when he got to 175 and was facing bigger opponents.

Being more aggressive in the ring or defensive doesn't make a fighter better or worse to me, just merely a different type of fighter.

Holyfield could be too aggressive and brawl-happy for his own good.

Medel holds wins over McGowan, Harada, Becerra, Seki, etc. All top notch wins. Often fighters with over 100 fights have a lot of losses toward the end of their careers, especially facing the type of competition they did in that era.

Kingpetch held wins over Ebihara, Harada, Seki, and multiple wins over one of the best Flyweights of all time in Pascual Perez.

Now please tell me how Ledwaba and Sasakul have better wins than those. JMM's record isn't that great either when you look on paper. Both Medel and Kingpetch have better wins on their resumes.

I didn't say they were better than Morales and Barrera in their primes, I said the wins were comparable considering the times they were fought. And considering Pacquiao didn't actually beat JMM when they fought, you have even less to bank on.

You agree because you don't have a clue who their opposition is, being as you're a know-nothing General Forum clown, just like PacDBest. You guys look at the number of wins and losses without a clue as to who the fighters they faced are. Don't comment unless you have some clue as to what you're commenting on. ****ing clowns, now I know why Brooklyn left this place.

Both of them defeated Harada in matches you clown, so obviously they defeated at least one HOF'er. Kingpetch also defeated Perez twice, who ranks top 45 all time on Ring's list, and Ebihara. Anything else you wish to know?
